Foundation of JOTA AG / Switzerland

The company JOTA was founded in Düsseldorf (Germany) in the year 1909. In this time the production were steel-, carbide burs and ceramic bonded abrasives for the dental field. With the foundation of the JOTA AG in 1973, the production of ceramic bonded abrasives has been moved to Switzerland. In 1992 the production of diamond instruments has been started.
With an export of more than 90 % and customers in more than 80 contries, JOTA today is one of the leading manufacturer of rotary instruments. Besides the dental products, JOTA also sells instruments for jewellery , podology, surgical and industrial use.
Changes in customer needs and technological advances leaded to the developing of the JOTA alpha-JAA implants. With this JOTA will participate from the beginning on in a fast growing marked.
